Our Financial Planning Process
Our Financial Planning Process
We believe it is important to take a “holistic” approach to planning that goes way beyond simply investments.
This begins with an initial discovery meeting, where we discuss your needs, wants and dreams for the future.
We’ll explore the dynamics of your particular situation and determine if you are a good candidate for a Financial Plan.
Building Your Financial Plan
Our Financial Planning process is about more than your investments and net worth. It’s about identifying your needs, wants, fears, expectations and goals. It can help address common concerns such as:
- Will I be able to retire comfortably?
- Are my investments working hard enough?
- What’s the best approach for college planning?
- Do I have enough insurance for my family?
- When should I take social security?
We’ll fill in the basic information beforehand, but we develop a dynamic plan with you. It’s easy to follow, we can make changes to it in front of you and you’ll immediately see the impact!
We consider your Financial Plan the foundation of your relationship with us. Of course, we will help you implement, monitor and update the Plan, as needed.
Implementing Your Financial Plan
A Financial Plan is only as useful as what you do with it. Once the foundation of your Plan is built, it’s time to move on to implementation.
We will help you implement each and every recommendation in the plan, including items such as:
- budgeting more effectively,
- reallocating your investments based on your risk tolerance
- replacing your salary during retirement
- customizing the timing of your social security payments,
- protecting your risk utilizing various insurance options,
- planning for the education of children and grandchildren
- passing on your wealth to the next generation through gifting and estate planning.
